The 20-year-old, who is currently on dure with England U21 Women, made her league debut for the three-time English champions this season against Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate Stadium.

Bunker is a graduate of the Hartpury system and has represented both the College and University.

She is the latest re-signing at Kingsholm Stadium and follows the likes of Alex Matthews, Emma Sing, Maud Muir and Nel Metcalfe in committing her future to the West Country club.

Dan Murphy, Gloucester Hartpury Head of Rugby, said: “Molly is a great example of what the Hartpury pathway is all about. She’s come through the system, embraced every opportunity, and worked incredibly hard to make the step up into senior rugby.

“To see her go from the pathway into making her PWR and Kingsholm debuts this season has been really pleasing, and it shows the strength of the programme we’ve built here.

“She’s got a great attitude and she’s only going to keep improving. We’re delighted to keep her at the club and continue supporting her development.”

A week after her senior debut in Bristol, Bunker made her first start for the Circus against Trailfinders Women at Kingsholm.

Bunker said: “Making my senior debut this season and running out at Kingsholm were really special moments for me, and it’s something I’ve been working towards for a long time.

“To come through the pathway and now be part of this senior group means a lot. I’m excited to keep learning from the players around me, keep developing my game, and see where this journey takes me next.”
