Hot on the heels of Tom de Glanville and Tom Carr-Smith signing new deals at Bath, Ireland international Quinn Roux has also pledged his future to the defending PREM champions.

The 35-year-old Afrikaaner has been awarded a new one-year deal, having proved to be an invaluable member of the Bath engine room amid a second-row injury crisis this season.

The no-nonsense lock joined the club ahead of the 2022/23 season and has become a respected leader alongside other experienced second-rows, such as Charlie Ewels and Ross Molony.

The South African’s time at The Rec has seen him be part of Bath’s triple trophy-winning season of 2024/25 and has earned 63 caps in Blue, Black and White to date.

Committing to another year at the club, Roux said: “The last few years with this club has been some of the most enjoyable years of my career. I’m not ready to end it just yet.”

Roux has played across four different domestic leagues, featuring in the URC, Top 14, Super Rugby and PREM, and has made 16 international appearances for Ireland.

Head of Rugby at Bath, Johann van Graan, welcomes Roux’s renewal, saying: “One of the quieter men of the team, allowing his rugby to do the talking on the field, he has developed into a very important player on and off the pitch for our club.
