Racing 92 emerged as surprise contenders for the signature of former Australia and Argentina boss Michael Cheika, who is leaving Leicester Tigers when his contract runs out at the end of the season.

Cheika, 57, spent two years coaching Racing’s arch-rivals Stade Francais between 2010 and 2012, but his CV has been doing the rounds at their state-of-the-art training facilities at Plessis Robinson in the last week.

Racing are looking for a permanent replacement for Stuart Lancaster, and his main competition could come from former Racing lock Karim Ghezal, who has been head coach of Lyon this season after getting sacked by the Pink Army.

Bordeaux are in advanced talks to keep South African tight-head Carlu Sadie, who was due to return home and join the Bulls when his contract runs out at the end of the season.

Sadie, 27, who has played for the Stormers, the Lions, Stade Francais and the Sharks, has played for Bordeaux since the start of last season and has started 13 of the 15 games that he has played for them this season.

Bordeaux are keen for him to stay at the Stade Chaban-Delmas for the next two years but need to reach an agreement for a compensation package with the Bulls.

Former London Irish and Ulster boss Les Kiss will go head-to-head with ex Leicester Tigers head coach Dan McKellar in the race to replace Joe Schmidt as Australia head coach when he stands down later this year.

Schmidt’s last game in charge will be against the All Blacks in October, and it is seen as a straight shoot out the former Premiership bosses who coach Queensland Reds and NSW Waratahs respectively for his job.

Rugby Australia are set to look to see if there are any candidates abroad, but Kiss and McKellar are seen as the favourites, while ACT Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham does have some support.

Gloucester’s squad for next season continues to take shape after they turned their attention to agreeing a new deal with prop Jamal Ford-Robinson, who can play on either side of the front row.

Fissler Confidential understands that former Northampton Saints and Bristol Bears ace Ford-Robinson, 27, who has played over 100 games for the club, held talks with Cherry and Whites bosses earlier this week.

Gloucester have also signed up Zebra’s Italian international loosehead Danilo Fischetti, 27, who used to play for London Irish on a start that starts in July when his contract with the Rugby Rugby Championship outfit ends.

Suntory Sungoliath are leading the race to land two-time World Cup Handre Pollard when his contract with Leicester Tigers runs out at the end of the season.

Pollard, 30, who has played for the Bulls, Red Hurricanes Osaka, and Montpelier before arriving in the East Midlands in 2022, is being chased by a handful of clubs in Japan’s Rugby League One.

The Tigers are resigned to losing Pollard after taking too long to get themselves together and, in a double setback, received an initial cold shoulder after asking Owen Farrell if he was planning to come back from France this summer.

Saracens have released US Eagles hooker Kapeli Pifeleti who has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Pro D2 promotion hopefuls Provence Rugby who are chasing Grenoble and Beziers at the top of the table.

Tonga born, Pifeleti, 25, who has scored one try in five appearances for the former Premiership and European Champions this season, made 49 appearances for the North London side after through their academy.

Mark McCall is well served at hooker with Jamie George and Theo Dan heading his resources and he could make his debut against Stade Montois on Thursday evening after signing a deal until 2027.

Lyon have announced that they have reached an agreement that will see New Zealand fly-half Fletcher Smith released from the last six months of his contract with the club.

Smith, 29, who also plays full-back, was signed as a medical joker for Lima Sopoaga three years ago and only played twice for Lyon this season could return home or go back to Japan’s Rugby League One.

He played for the Green Rockets Tokatsu in Japan after stints in Super Rugby with the Hurricanes and the Highlanders before moving to Lyon, where he scored 74 points in 25 appearances.

Italian international brothers Niccolo Cannone and his younger sibling Lorenzo are set to be on the move to the UK this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.

Benetton Rugby No. 8 Lorenzo, 24, who is set to face Wales this weekend to win his 25th international cap, has played seven times for the club this season and has clocked up 52 appearances in total.

Much sought after lock Niccolo, who is two years older, has played 13 times for Benetton, and 86 in total will win his 50th test cap against Warren Gatland’s side.

Mixed Wales update on availability of Josh Adams, Gareth Anscombe

As a businessman, I’ve always taken my finances seriously, especially when dealing with cryptocurrencies. Over time, I built a $400,000 Bitcoin wallet, which was a significant part of my business operations. I was careful with my security and never thought something like this would happen to me. So, when I woke up one morning to find my Bitcoin wallet completely empty, I couldn’t believe my eyes. My $400,000 was gone. It felt like a nightmare. I had fallen victim to a phishing attack, one that at first seemed completely legitimate, and I hadn’t even questioned it. The feeling of loss was overwhelming. My hard-earned Bitcoin was gone, and I had no idea how to recover it. I frantically searched for solutions, hoping there was a way to get my funds back. I contacted my wallet provider, but they told me that once the funds were transferred, there was nothing they could do. I felt helpless and devastated, thinking that my Bitcoin was lost forever. Then, one day, I saw a post on LinkedIn from a fellow business owner in my network. She shared a story about how Blockchain Cyber Retrieve had helped her recover lost assets after a phishing attack. Her post was full of praise for the company’s quick service and expertise in recovering both private and commercial funds. This resonated with me, and I thought, "If they could help her, maybe they could help me too. I reached out to Blockchain Cyber Retrieve, and from the very first contact, I could tell that I was dealing with professionals. The representative who responded was empathetic and assured me that they could help recover my funds. They didn’t treat me like just another case—they treated me like a person facing a serious issue. They immediately got to work, asking for the necessary details and beginning the recovery process. The team worked quickly and efficiently. I received constant updates and was able to track the progress of my recovery in real-time. They used cutting-edge tools and techniques to trace the stolen Bitcoin, and within a couple of days, I received the best news I could have hoped for: my wallet was restored in full. All $400,000 was back in my possession, But Blockchain Cyber Retrieve didn’t stop there. They not only recovered my funds but also shared valuable advice on securing my cryptocurrency for the future. They helped me improve my wallet’s security, advised on using multi-signature authentication, and suggested ways to train my staff to recognize phishing scams. This proactive approach gave me the confidence to protect my assets going forward. Thanks to Blockchain Cyber Retrieve, I was able to save my business from a devastating loss. I learned a valuable lesson about securing my crypto assets and am now much more diligent about protecting my funds. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, trust me when I say: Blockchain Cyber Retrieve is the team you want on your side.

Can 'great' Gibson-Park best 'freakish' Dupont in scrum-half clash for the ages?

It started with a gut-wrenching realization. I’d been duped. Months earlier, I’d poured $133,000 into what I thought was a golden opportunity a cryptocurrency investment platform promising astronomical returns. The website was sleek, the testimonials glowed, and the numbers in my account dashboard climbed steadily. I’d watched my Bitcoin grow, or so I thought, until the day I tried to withdraw it. That’s when the excuses began: “Processing delays,” “Additional verification required,” and finally, a demand for a hefty “release fee.” Then, silence. The platform vanished overnight, taking my money with it. I was left staring at a blank screen, my savings gone, and a bitter taste of shame in my mouth.I didn’t know where to turn. The police shrugged cybercrime was a black hole they couldn’t navigate. Friends offered sympathy but no solutions. I spent sleepless nights scouring forums, reading about others who’d lost everything to similar scams. That’s when I stumbled across a thread mentioning a group specializing in crypto recovery. They didn’t promise miracles, but they had a reputation for results. Desperate, I reached out.The first contact was a breath of fresh air. I sent an email explaining my situation dates, transactions, screenshots, everything I could scrape together. Within hours, I got a reply. No fluff, no false hope, just a clear request for more details and a promise to assess my case. I hesitated, wary of another scam, but something about their professionalism nudged me forward. I handed over my evidence: the wallet addresses I’d sent my Bitcoin to, the emails from the fake platform, even the login credentials I’d used before the site disappeared. The process kicked off fast. They explained that scammers often move funds through a web of wallets to obscure their tracks, but Bitcoin’s blockchain leaves a trail if you know how to follow it. That’s where their expertise came in. They had tools and know-how I couldn’t dream of, tracing the flow of my coins across the network. I didn’t understand the technical jargon hash rates, mixing services, cold wallets but I didn’t need to. They kept me in the loop with updates: “We’ve identified the initial transfer,” “The funds split here,” “We’re narrowing down the endpoints.” Hours passed , and I oscillated between hope and dread. Then came the breakthrough. They’d pinpointed where my Bitcoin had landed a cluster of wallets tied to the scammers. Some of it had been cashed out, but a chunk remained intact, sitting in a digital vault the crooks thought was untouchable. I didn’t ask too many questions about that part; I just wanted results. They pressured the right points, leveraging the blockchain evidence to freeze the wallets holding my funds before the scammers could liquidate them. Next morning, I woke up to an email that made my heart skip. “We’ve secured access to a portion of your assets.” Not all of it some had slipped through the cracks but $133,000 worth of Bitcoin, my original investment, was recoverable. They walked me through the final steps: setting up a secure wallet, verifying the transfer, watching the coins land. When I saw the balance tick up on my screen, I sat there, stunned. It was real. My money was back. The ordeal wasn’t painless. I’d lost time, sleep, and a bit of faith in humanity. But the team at Alpha Spy Nest Recovery turned a nightmare into a second chance.  I’ll never forget what they did. In a world full of thieves, they were the ones who fought to make things right.
