Haereiti Hetet headlines the group with his 24 Test caps and 39 Drua appearances, having been with the club since its inception in 2022. The prop has extended his contract by one season, confirming his place in the 2027 Drua squad.

“I’m very grateful, and I enjoy my time here at the Drua,” Hetet said. “With new signings and players returning home for the first time, and the way we’re trying to play, I want to thank the coaches and management for trusting me to stay on.”

The 28-year-old is joined by winger Taniela Rakuro, who boasts nine tries in 25 appearances for the club and made his Test debut in the 2025 Pacific Nations Cup, although previously represented Fiji against the Barbarians in 2024. The speedster has signed on for another two years.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to extend my contract with the Drua and thankful to the management for their belief in me and allowing me to continue with the club.”

Finally, 21-year-old playmaker Isikeli Rabitu is also locked in until 2028. Rabitu debuted for the Drua in 2024 after representing Fiji U20s in 2022, and now has 14 Drua caps to his name.

“I thank the Almighty God for guiding me throughout my rugby career. I’m also grateful to the Drua management and coaching staff for their trust and for extending my contract. I feel truly blessed to continue my journey with the Drua.”

Drua head coach Glen Jackson emphasised the importance of all three signings, with plenty of excitement about the youngsters and the experience Hetet adds to the team.

“It’s exceptional for the club to secure three outstanding players. Hetet is a quality loosehead prop and a vital part of our group. As a Flying Fijian and Rugby World Cup player, having him re-sign with the club is a huge boost.

“Sike is one of the brightest young talents I’ve seen since he first arrived, and he’s certainly part of the club’s future.
