The 10 ACT Brumbies debutants named for Super Rugby AUS round one

Australia Under-20 representatives Eli Langi, TJ Talaileva and Ewald Kruger are among the 10 debutants set to suit up for the ACT Brumbies this weekend, when the team takes on the NSW Waratahs in the opening round of Super Rugby AUS.
The Brumbies have named their side to take on the defending champions at Bungendore Sports Hub on Sunday, with the current assistant team manager Josh Townsend headlining the group of debutants-to-be.
Townsend will pack down at lock alongside former Australia U20 captain Toby Macpherson, who will lead the Brums for the first time. There are a host of other debutants in the side, including the son of former Wallabies prop Al Baxter.

Lington Leli will pack down in the front row alongside hooker Liam Bowron and Super Rugby Pacific regular Rhys van Nek. Townsend and Macpherson are the locks, while Langi and Talaileva are set to debut on the flanks, and so too will Oscar Cleary at No. 8.
In the backs, Klayton Thorn links up with capped Wallaby Tane Edmed in the halves. David Feliuai and Kadin Pritchard will reignite their combination, which was seen on a regular basis during the recent Super Rugby Pacific season.
Paris Olympian Corey Tool and New Zealand-born Australia A representative Ollie Sapsford line up on the wings, and First Nations & Pasifika XV captain Triston Reilly completes the back three trio as the starting fullback.
Darcy Fogarty, Dylan Bretton, Oscar Shaw, Tu’ukalikali Vaipulu and Finn Baxter are all set to make their debuts off the bench.
This match will get underway at 2:00 pm AEST on Sunday afternoon.
