The 37-year-old forward, who has represented her country at three Women’s Rugby World Cups, has spent the last three seasons in West London and has been a key player for Barney Maddison’s team.

Zackary joined Trailfinders after three years with Exeter Chiefs in Devon. Upon her arrival in London the forward became a fan favourite and could cap her time with the team with an English league title at the Twickenham Stoop this weekend.

“I want to give a massive thanks for everything over the last three seasons,” Zackary said. “London wasn’t my first choice when the time came, but it’s become a favourite of mine, and a second home away from home for me.

“And that’s in part to you all – my teammates, my coaches, but also all the fans and supporters who have grown and backed us over the last three seasons.

“It’s thanks to you truly. Coming out in droves, no matter the weather, no matter the travel, so thank you again. And more importantly, what I have to say, is ‘see you Sunday’.

“Please bring the noise, back us all the way, and I can’t wait to connect with you one more time afterwards.”

This season Zackary has scored three tries, made 92 carries and made nine dominant tackles for her club. She played the full 80 minutes in Trailfinders’ 29-26 semi-final win against Gloucester Hartpury in the West Country.

On Sunday, Trailfinders will hope to upset Saracens in the PWR Final. To date, Zackary and her teammates have never registered a win against their capital rivals.
