During her time in West London the 28-year-old was a JAECOO Premiership Women’s Rugby champion in 2021 [then Premier 15s] and scored 381 points across her 107 appearances.

Tuima is another experienced addition to a Leicester team that finished at the foot of the PWR table in 2025/26. Already the club have announced the signing of senior internationals Abbie Fleming [Wales] and Tabua Tuinakauvadra [Australia].

A versatile player, Tuima is capable of playing at fly-half or centre and won 16 caps for England’s Red Roses across a six-year international career. Tuima made her last international in 2023.

Fraser Goatcher, Director of Women’s Rugby, said: “Lagi speaks for herself in terms of Red Roses experience, she’s done a lot in the game for someone who has still got a lot to give as well.”

“She has an ability to take the ball to the line, to distribute well, make good decisions and she’s someone who’s going to bring a lot of experience to our squad.”

Leicester confirmed this week that head coach Ross Bundy had departed the club. It was later confirmed that the former Scotland U20 international was joining PWR rivals Exeter Chiefs as an assistant coach.

Tuima said: “I’m looking forward to joining Leicester Tigers and seeing what this season has to offer.”

“I’m excited by the clubs ambition and fully align with their values. With my experience I hope to add value both on and off the pitch – excited to get going.”
