Six Nations stadiums named as possible Champions Cup semi-final venues
EPCR, the organiser of the Investec Champions Cup, has confirmed four potential venues to host this season’s semi-finals.
The Champions Cup semi-finals will take place on the weekend of 2/3 May, with the Final scheduled on Saturday, 23 May at Bilbao San Mamés Stadium.
Following the quarter-finals this weekend, the semi-final fixtures will be decided and the clubs with the highest rankings from the pool stage of the tournament will earn home country advantage in the last four.
The four selected venues – one in France, one in Ireland, one in England and one in Scotland – will play host to an semi-final depending on the outcome.
The four venues are: Stade Atlantique Bordeaux Métropole, Bordeaux, Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Stadium MK, Milton Keynes.
Bristol’s Ashton Gate had been mooted as a possible venue if Bath ended up playing Toulouse, but Bristol City are at home to Stoke City that weekend.
