Gregor Townsend has named a Scotland team that will host Argentina this Saturday at BT Murrayfield that shows just two changes from the XV beaten 23-31 last Sunday by the All Blacks. Jonny Gray will replace his suspended brother Richie at lock while ex-Australian international Jack Dempsey is included in the back row in place of the injured Hamish Watson.

That decision has caused a back row reshuffle. With Dempsey named at No8, Matt Fagerson has switched to blindside while skipper Jamie Ritchie has swapped over to the No7 jersey vacated by Watson. The 28-year-old Dempsey made his Scotland debut three weeks ago versus the Wallabies.

Meanwhile, the Scotland bench has been overhauled with half-backs Ben White and Blair Kinghorn the only two repeat reserve picks. George Turner, Jamie Bhatti, Murphy Walker, Glen Young and Andy Christie are the sub pack changes with Cameron Redpath named as this weekend’s 23rd man.
