Already the 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations‘ fallow week is upon us after the conclusion of Round 3.

Saturday afternoon saw the Red Roses beat Wales 62-24 in front of 26,000 fans at Ashton Gate Stadium. In Parma, Italy impressed with their 41-14 dismantling of a Scotland team that had no response. Then in Clermont there was no Women’s Rugby World Cup revenge for Ireland as France picked up a 26-7 victory.

So, while we all catch a breather, here is RugbyPass‘ Team of Round 3…

15. Ellie Kildunne (England)

It almost flew under the radar how well Ellie Kildunne performed for the Red Roses against Wales on Saturday. Even in an understated mood the 26-year-old full-back managed to carry the ball a whopping 19 times for 165 metres, and was instrumental in Meg Jones’ try ahead of half-time.

14. Aura Muzzo (Italy)

Aura Muzzo was one of many that thrived in Italy’s backs in Round 3. One of Italy’s five try scorers in Parma, 29-year-old Muzzo enjoyed a faultless 66 minutes on the pitch against Scotland and gained 92 metres from nine carries, as well as two linebreaks, in a big win for the Italians.

13. Meg Jones (England)

With each passing week Meg Jones’ importance to England’s attack is becoming more and more apparent. A scorer of two tries in Bristol the 29-year-old was in her pomp charging before the whitewash and also provided two assists as England scored 10 tries in the West Country. In total Jones racked up 99 metres from 15 carries and even made three linebreaks for good measure.

12. Teani Feleu (France)

There was a lot of pressure on Teani Feleu’s shoulders coming into France’s game with Ireland. In the first two rounds of this year’s Women’s Six Nations, François Ratier’s team have seen Gabrielle Vernier and Joanna Grisez pick up long-term injuries. You then consider that Feleu was considered a back-row by France’s former coaching staff despite playing in the midfield for her club side, then Saturday evening was quite the night for the 23-year-old. To then make 12 carries [45 metres], keep play alive and complete 11 tackles against an Ireland team intent to topple France in Clermont, now that is impressive.

11. Alyssa D’Inca (Italy)

This was maybe the perfect wing performance. Because not only was Alyssa D’Inca a scorer of two tries, the 24-year-old also completed 17 efforts in a superb, well-rounded display from a player that had largely been utilised at outside centre by Fabio Roselli so far in this Women’s Six Nations. We always knew that D’Inca had a lot of talent. This was next level stuff.

10. Carla Arbez (France)

Arguably the fly-half of this Championship so far, Carla Arbez must be loving life pulling the strings of Les Bleues right now. One try and three conversions meant that the 27-year-old ended the contest with 11 points, but it was her partnership with Pauline Bourdon Sansus and distribution that landed Arbez, yet again, in a league of her own. When Round 5 does come, Arbez faving off with either of England’s Holly Aitchison or Zoe Harrison is going to be essential viewing.

9. Pauline Bourdon Sansus (France)

Another week, another Pauline Bourdon Sansus masterclass at scrum-half. Would you ever expect anything else? In Round 3 the Stade Toulousain half-back dealt with Ireland’s incessant pressure admirably and continued to keep France moving forward – particularly in the second half as the hosts pulled clear in Clermont to go three from three.

1. Ambre Mwayembe (France)

A starter against Italy. A replacement against Wales. Player of the Match against Ireland. It has already been quite the three weekends for Ambre Mwayembe. The loosehead’s efforts against Ireland were absolutely her best so far as we got to see the 22-year-old thrive at scrum time and in the loose. More than anything else it was Mwayembe’s 24 tackles in 66 minutes that really caught the eye. France have a real star here.

2. Mathilde Lazarko (France)

Already François Ratier has unearthed a whole heap of Test match ready players. Mathilde Lazarko is one of them, even if she is slightly older than the majority at 26. A top performer in AXA Elite 1 Feminine for some time, the hooker played 60 minutes in Clermont last Saturday, made 23 tackles and 32 metres from nine carries.

3. Vittoria Zanette (Italy)

It seems as though Rond 3 was the weekend the front-row wanted to stand out. Vittoria Zanette’s 49 minutes on the pitch was as indicative of this as the 21-year-old Lyon tighthead got over the whitewash twice in a powerful display. She was also integral to strong Italian scrums and lineouts, which each had a 100 per cent success rate.

4. Giordana Duca (Italy)

You can safely say that Giordana Duca does not mind doing the ugly stuff. In Parma the 33-year-old’s 80 minute on the turf was one of the key in her team’s conus point win. It was the full-court game on display that accounted for much of the good as she scored a try, carried the ball 10 times for 44 metres, made a linebreak and even completed 14 tackles. Massive.

5. Madoussou Fall Raclot (France)

Resolute. That is probably how you describe Madoussou Fall Raclot’s Round 3 performance against Ireland. It was the most devastating display of competence from a second row that you could see. When Ireland were in attack Fall Raclot was never too far away. It will come as no surprise that the 28-year-old made 24 tackles. She was even among the top carriers with 13 for 39 metres. Always impressive.

6. Axelle Berthoumieu (France)

There was quite a lot of attention on Axelle Berthoumieu on Saturday. The last time she, and France, played Ireland the flanker copped a nine-match ban for biting. That dental impression is now somewhat infamous to those in emerald green. Rarely is Berthomieu flashy. What the Blagnac flanker does is be a nuisance. You can argue that a team-high 25 tackles, completed in just 49 minutes, backs that up. Monstrous.

7. Marlie Packer (England)

There was something so special about Marlie Packer’s 80 minute performance in Round 3. It was a statement that class is absolutely permanent. But also that so much as things change, they also stay the same. In her first full 80 minutes Test since the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup pool stages, Packer scored two tries, made two linebreaks, carried the ball 12 times and made 81 metres.

8. Francesca Sgorbini (Italy)

Player of the Match in Italy’s second Women’s Six Nations win over Scotland in a row, Francesca Sgorbini had the archetypal flanker’s performance. So much so her efforts mean she installed at No.8 in our Team of Round 3. Not a try scorer against the Scots, Sgorbini provided a series of high energy interjections into the contest that continually kept the hosts on the front foot. A huge confidence boost ahead of England’s visit in Round 4.
