Louis Carbonel Bio

Louis Carbonel is a French fly half who currently plays for Stade Français. He’s also been capped by the national team.

Born on 4 February 1999, Louis Carbonel began playing rugby at a young age. His amateur career began at RC Canton Garde Pradet, but he was soon scouted by Toulon. Fast forward to 2017 and he made his professional debut for Toulon’s senior team.

Between 2017 and 2022, Louis Carbonel made 97 appearances for the French giants. However, he left the squad seeking new opportunities and ultimately signed for Montpellier in the summer of 2022. Prior to the start of the 2024-25 season, he moved to Stade Français.

Internationally, Louis Carbonel was a force for the French U20s team. He won the Six Nations Under 20s Championship with the squad in 2018, as well as the World Rugby Under 20s Championship in 2018 and 2019. He then made his full debut for the senior side in 2020.

Still young and with his best years ahead of him, we can’t wait to see what else Louis Carbonel can achieve in the game.
