Harlequins have confirmed the signing of 33-cap Wales prop Sisilia Tuipulotu from Premiership Women’s Rugby champions Gloucester Hartpury.

The 22-year-old will join the West London club ahead of the 2026/27 season. Since she made her debut for the West Country side in 2021 against DMP Durham Sharks, Tuipulotu has made 67 appearances for The Circus and has been integral to the team’s three PWR titles in a row.

Tuipulotu has developed a reputation for her powerful carries, hard work around the park and astuteness at the set-piece. She will join fellow Wales internationals Lisa Neumann, Kayleigh Powell and Carys Phillips at the Twickenham Stoop.

The tighthead prop has helped Gloucester Hartpury top the table coming into the Spring break with 14 try-scoring bonus point wins from a possible 14. Harlequins are currently sixth in the PWR table and have lost seven games in a row.

Ross Chisholm, Harlequins head coach, said: “It’s hugely exciting to have secured the services of a player of the calibre of Sisilia. She will add to what is already an exciting front-row and group of forwards here at Harlequins. Sisilia is a world-class operator and has shown in her performances for both Gloucester Hartpury and Wales just how good she is.”

Tuipulotu, who turns 23 in August, has started all three of Wales’ Guinness Women’s Six Nations matches so far in 2026 and scored a try in her team’s 24-19 loss to Scotland at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff in Round 1.

While still early on in her career, Tuipulotu has competed for Wales at two Women’s Rugby World Cups and was nominated for the 2023 Women’s Six Nations Player of the Championship.

Tuipulotu said: “I’m really excited to be joining Harlequins! I’m excited for the experience, to meet the team and learn from even more world-class players. I can’t wait to get going in the Quarters.”
