The 29-year-old flanker, who has represented the USA Women’s Eagles since 2022, has represented Sharks since their first Premiership Women’s Rugby season in 2020.

Perris-Redding was named co-captain of Sale in 2022 and was named club captain ahead of the 2025/26 PWR season. Last August the flanker signed a contract to stay in the North West until 2027.

This season Perris-Redding has led Sale to their most successful domestic season to date. In their first season under the guidance of head coach Tom Hudson, Sale are fifth in the PWR table and racked up wins over Trailfinders Women, Harlequins, Loughborough Lightning and Bristol Bears after Christmas.

Top four status and a semi-final clash with either Gloucester Hartpury or Saracens may well be just out of reach as the club only has one more regular season clash to go against Exeter Chiefs on Sunday 7 June.

She missed the 2024/25 PWR season with an ACL injury. Her recovery included a second surgery nine months after the first.

Perris-Redding did gain Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 selection, where she played two matches at the tournament as Sione Fukofuka’s team left the competition at the group stage.

At this year’s Pacific Four Series, Perris-Redding played every minute of the USA’s matches against New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

Under new head coach Jack Hanratty, the Eagles placed third overall after losses to the Black Ferns and Canada on home soil.

Perris-Redding was born in Detroit, Michigan, but was raised in the North West. She began playing rugby aged seven but did take a break from the sport to take part in competitive trampolining.

At 18 she joined North Waterloo and did have a spell with Worcester Warriors before singing for Sharks alongside her twin sister, India.
