Five 'Super Saturdays' locked in for 2027 Women's Six Nations

Every round of the 2027 Guinness Women’s Six Nations will be played on Saturdays in the wake of a record-breaking 2026 Championship.

Six Nations Rugby have confirmed all fixtures for the 2027 Championship, which includes five ‘Super Saturdays’ that start on Saturday 10 April when Italy host France. The competition will conclude on Saturday 15 May when England host France.

In their release, Six Nations Rugby claimed that the decision to have a dedicated Saturday window came after a record-breaking 2026 tournament.

Ahead of the final round in 2026, there has been a 98.5 per cent increase in attendance at the tournament, 12.85 million viewers have tuned in across core markets and there has been a 109 per cent increase in social media engagement.

When England hosted Ireland at Allianz Stadium in Round 1 of the 2026 Championship, the fixture set a new attendance record as 77,120 supporters flocked to West London.

At his weekend’s Round 5 finale, Wales host Italy at Cardiff Arms Park, Scotland travel to Dublin to play Ireland at the Aviva Stadium and France will play England in a Grand Slam decider at Bordeaux’s Stade Atlantique.

It has also been confirmed that the Six Nations U21 Women’s Series will return in 2027. The competition, hosted in tandem with the senior competition, will again see several fixtures played as double headers. This season 31 players have graduated into their nation’s senior squads.
