The 25-year-old Scotland back-row forward has been a significant player for the West Country club and currently leads the league for turnovers won [19]. She has averaged nearly 15 carries and 14 tackles per game in PWR this season.

Gallagher joined Bristol from Worcester Warriors in 2023 and has been a regular tour de force in the pack for Bears.

Scott Lawson, Bristol Bears head coach, said: “Evie is one of the best players in the world in her position and we’re absolutely delighted she’s committed her future to the club. Her ability to perform across the back row gives us huge flexibility, but what really sets her apart is the impact she has all over the pitch.

“To lead the league for turnovers shows the level of influence she has defensively, but her carrying, physicality and work rate make her a complete player. She drives standards every day and is a massive part of the environment we’re building here.

“Retaining players of Evie’s quality is hugely important for us as we continue to shape a young, ambitious and exciting squad for next season.”

Bristol are currently eighth in the PWR table. So far this season Scott Lawson’s side have won five games, drawn one and lost eight.

After her bright start to the domestic season a hamstring ruled Gallagher out of the 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations. The 25-year-old’s absence has been felt by Scotland, who have lost three of their four fixtures so far this Championship.

Gallagher said: “I’m really happy to be staying at Bears. I’ve loved my time at the club and I feel like this environment has helped me develop massively as a player. There’s a really exciting group here with big ambitions for the future, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow alongside the team. The support from the coaches, staff and players has been brilliant and I’m excited for what’s to come next season.”
