Finn Russell will start at fly-half for Bath on Friday as they host Saracens in the return to Gallagher PREM action.

Just six days after a try-scoring display in a defeat to Ireland in the final day of the Guinness Six Nations, Russell will start alongside Ben Spencer, who started for England later that day against France.

Spencer’s England team-mates in Paris, Guy Pepper and Sam Underhill, who earned his 50th England cap at the Stade de France, will be on the bench at the Rec, while Ollie Lawrence and Henry Arundell, who last featured in round three against Ireland, will start.

Saracens will also boast a couple of England internationals, with Elliot Daly starting at full-back after featuring in the final two rounds of the Championship in the same position.

Ben Earl, who started every match for England and made the third-most carries in the competition’s history, will start on the bench for a match that will lift them into the top four of the PREM should they beat the reigning champions.
