The United Rugby Championship is one of the three major professional rugby union leagues in Europe. Contested by 16 teams between September and May, the league is structured into regional pools with matches played at home and away. At the end of the season, the eight teams at the top of the standings progress to the playoffs.

The Championship uses the standard points system, with a winning team receiving four points and two points awarded for a match that ends in a draw. The league also uses the bonus points system, with one point for a team that scores four or more tries and one point for a team that loses by seven points or less.

So, which team do you think could win this year’s United Rugby Championship? Use the interactive poll above to cast your vote or comment to debate with our global rugby community.
