    Tomos Williams Bio

Born 1 January 1995, Tomos Williams came through the Cardiff Academy. He then made his debut for Cardiff in 2013, when he featured as a replacement against Munster.

Between then and 2024, he made 146 appearances for Cardiff, scoring 138 points in the process. During his time with the club, he scored a try as Cardiff triumphed over Gloucester in the 2017-18 EPCR Challenge Cup Final. It was later voted as the try of the season.

After more than a decade at Cardiff, Tomos Williams announced that he was signing for Gloucester from the 2024-25 season.

Unsurprisingly, Tomos Williams has also been a star on the international stage from a young age. He was capped by Wales at U18 and U20 level before he represented his country in rugby sevens during the 2014-15 season.

He then finally made his debut for the Wales senior squad in 2018. Ever since, he’s been a regular in the starting line up and he’s now been capped more than 60 times by his country.

Thanks to the consistency of his performances for Cardiff, Gloucester and Wales, Tomos Williams was called up into the British and Irish Lions squad for the team’s tour of Australia in 2025. Sadly though, he was injured in a match against the Western Force and had to return home before the test series began.

With plenty left to offer on both the domestic and international stages, we can’t wait to see what Tomos Williams achieves next.
