Harlequins player ratings vs Saracens | 2026/27 Gallagher PREM
Harlequins player ratings: Quins were almost unrecognisable at times at The Stoop. Known for their all-court attack and occasional defensive brainrot, this was a performance built on line speed, collisions and ruthless punishment of Saracens’ mistakes.
Marcus Smith pulled the strings magnificently on his 200th appearance, while the Quins pack repeatedly rattled some seriously heavyweight opposition. Saracens had moments and threatened to make a game of it in the second half, but Harlequins were comfortably the better side for long stretches, and deserved their 33-15 win.
15. George Furbank – 8
A classy home debut. His tip-on pass helped create the opening try and his superb wide ball sent Murley over shortly before half-time. Calm under the high ball and looked entirely at ease in the Quins backfield.
14. Rodrigo Isgro – 6.5
Worked relentlessly in pursuit and his kick chase caused problems. Looked slightly off-colour compared to some recent displays and his evening was disrupted by the head-on-head collision with Fergus Burke. His face was physically battered, bruised and bloodied, which didn’t help the Los Pumas’ star.
13. Luke Northmore – 8
Outstanding defensively. Did an enormous amount of unseen work and repeatedly shut down Saracens attacks before they developed. No frills, as Brian O’Driscoll might say, but a classy outing from the centre.
12. Bryn Bradley – 7
Solid rather than fireworks. Defended well, distributed effectively and quietly helped knit together several passages of play. Easy to overlook but important to much of Quins’ good work.
11. Cadan Murley – 8
Two tries and a constant threat. The first after outstanding interplay with Marcus Smith, the second from a sweeping move that killed Saracens just before the interval. Looked dangerous every time space opened up.
10. Marcus Smith – 8.5
A brilliant milestone performance on his 200th appearance. Combined beautifully with Murley for the opening score and produced the play of the match by slapping the ball from Max Malins’ grasp over the tryline. Burke was simply played off the park. Controlled proceedings superbly.
9. Will Porter – 8
Smart, alert and accurate. Won a clever offside penalty by firing the ball into the retreating Jack Bracken and capped an excellent outing with a try under the posts after pouncing on loose possession and brushing aside defenders.
1. Fin Baxter – 8
Made an enormous midfield carry before providing the offload that sent Seb Driscoll over. Worked hard around the field before departing early in the second half.
2. Sam Riley – 7
Very solid. Carried effectively, threw accurately and popped a nice pass to James Dun during one promising attack. A dependable afternoon.
3. Ollie Streeter – 4.5
A difficult afternoon at the office. Rhys Carré repeatedly put him under severe pressure and won several pivotal scrum battles. Brave enough and kept plugging away, but this was a steep learning curve.
4. James Dun – 7.5
Produced one monstrous hit on George Martin and generally brought a huge physical edge. Also conceded a high tackle late in the first half but his positives comfortably outweighed the negatives.
5. Kieran Treadwell – 7
None of your fancy stuff. Reliable in the lineout, industrious around the park and generally delivered exactly what Quins required. The former Ireland international quietly went about his business.
6. Jack Kenningham – 7.5
Continued his outstanding form. Excellent lineout operator, claimed key turnovers and repeatedly found himself in the thick of everything. One of Quins’ most influential forwards once again.
7. Seb Driscoll – 8
Scored an excellent try after running over Tomos Williams and stood up brilliantly against some very big names opposite him. Physical, energetic and highly effective throughout.
8. Lucas Schmid – 8
Made a huge opening carry, carried hard all afternoon and was excellent over the ball. A holding-on penalty was one of the few negatives. Powerful and influential.
Replacements – 7.5
The bench maintained Quins’ intensity. Will Hobson’s immediate jackal turnover after replacing Baxter was outstanding and helped ensure Saracens never fully got back into the contest. Collectively they preserved the energy and defensive accuracy that won the match.
