Lucy Packer Bio

Lucy Packer was born on 2 February 2000 in Ammanford, Wales. Here she attended Ysgol Dyffryn Aman and played for both Amman Utd and Cardiff Quins.

Then, in 2018, Packer signed for Harlequins, where she has stayed ever since. To date, she’s enjoyed an incredibly successful stint with the club. Notably, she was part of the team’s title-winning squad in the 2020-21 season.

During her first season with Harlequins, Lucy Packer also made her debut for Wales in rugby sevens. However, she has since chosen to represent England in the XV-a-side format. She made her Red Roses debut in 2021, in a game against the USA

A year later, she was named in England’s squad for the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup. Three years later, she was also named in England’s squad for the 2025 Rugby World Cup.

During England’s successful Women’s Rugby World Cup run, Packer played a vital role and even came off the bench in the final as England defeated Canada.

Still young and with plenty left to show, we can’t wait to see what else Lucy Packer can achieve in the game.
