Jess Breach Bio

Born on 4 November 1997, Jess Breach started playing rugby at the age of six, when she played for Chichester RFC. Following this, at the age of 14, she joined Pulborough RFC. Here she won a national championship in her final year at the club.

During her younger years, Breach was a highly-talented athlete. Alongside rugby, she competed in sprint hurdling, was a county-level gymnast and played both netball and hockey. However, rugby was her true calling and she was invited to England camps at the age of 16. Following this, she received a spot in the England U18 training squad. Added to this, she also won the European Sevens with England U18s in 2014 and 2015 and captained the talent development group side against Canada.

Following this, in 2016, Breach moved to Aylesford Bulls Ladies, where she won a league and cup double before the club merged into Harlequins Women. She stayed with the club until 2022, before moving to Saracens, who she has represented ever since.

After successes in the age-grade sides and on the domestic scene, Jess Breach made her full international debut in 2017. She hit the ground running, scoring six tries on her debut against Canada. When she won her second cap, she proved it wasn’t a fluke and scored five more. A year later, Breach won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games, playing rugby sevens.

Since 2019, Breach has held a full-time contract with the XV-a-side England team. Ever since, her game has gone from strength to strength. She’s now appeared for her country at two Rugby World Cups (2021 and 2025) and won several Six Nations titles.

Added to this, she was a standout player during England’s World Cup triumph in 2025. She emerged as their top-try-scorer with six, and earned her 50th cap in the process.

Still very much at the peak of her powers, we can’t wait to see what else Jess Breach can achieve in the game.
