Bio
Jamie Roberts is regarded as one of the most physical centres in world rugby. Having begun his career as a full-back Roberts regularly gets over the gain-line. Having performed well for Cardiff in the 2007 season when players were away at the World Cup, Roberts won his first Welsh cap against Scotland in 2008. His good form over the following season saw Roberts called up for the 2009 British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa where he was named as player of the series. Roberts is currently studying to become a doctor.
