Nations Championship referees confirmed with finals weekend appointments TBC

Huh? What are you talking about? Seriously dude, I never said anything even close to that. What are you talking about?

I said SA refs shouldn't be used just because they're from SA

Former Australia U20 captain among new faces in Wallabies squad

Is Marky Mark available for this? Should have come straight into the squad if he is.

Surprised Paisami is. Thought his suspension would run into next year.

So only refs from English speaking countries are good enough to officiate?…. Majority are. Most of them have blundered royally in the past.

Missing the point. The article is not about that.

Why the Wallabies must mount a more convincing case for the defence

I’d like to see us get into succession planning by having Wallaby assistant coaches moving into the Head coaching role. Surely this makes far more sense in terms of getting used to the National environment, expectations, intensity, familiarity with players etc.

It must also be easier to assert themselves as the Head coach in a more authentic way after spending years being mentored in the environment.

SVNS star set to start as Jake White names first team as Fiji coach

Jake White will be very good for Fiji as long as he doesn’t stifle their attack too much. He might be just the sort of discipline they need.

No, the best refs should be used regardless of where they're from… unless their home country is playing obviously

There just aren't any top class refs from SA right now

Graham Henry: What the Springboks series taught the All Blacks

Yet more coverage of RGR that fails to mention that it was out of season for the URC teams plus the Lions, although improving, are a middling URC team, so really they shouldn't have been more than a speed bump for the ABs (of old?)

Referees for World Rugby Nations Cup confirmed

You are clutching at straws - it is being officiated in a manner that suggests if the ball leaves the hands in a flat or backward manner then it is not a forward pass. Vectors in elementary physics show a ball carried forward, at pace, which is then passed ‘flat’ ie. at 90° to the direction of the player's travel, will have a resultant direction of travel at roughly 45°, if the passed ball and player are travelling at the same speed. Obviously, the further the pass, the further the ball will appear to travel forward on its 45° trajectory, from its point of departure. You are welcome

How Canada threw down the gauntlet and levelled the playing field against England's Red Roses

The amount of times Canada threw it backwards stationary to draw out the roses D put immense pressure on that final or second to last catch pass but Canada has improved that aspect of their game hugely.

As a big Black ferns fan I’m really happy they have stopped some of the offloading in contact getting bit more direct whilst still staying true to their style.

Six Ireland squad takeaways - a 'specimen' and spicy competition but Munster may be miffed

So glad and a bit surprised when reading this article since I was saying to myself that Sheehan could make a great 8 and that O’Brien should be tested at 13 while watching Clermont-Leinster.

I do not know to which extent Sheehan could really develop into a new position but, at least, it would enable Ireland to have more ingame options.

Newest All Black returns in Canterbury team for 2026 NPC final

I don’t if anyone involved in Rugbypass read these comments but the mobile version is becoming difficult to read, the first paragraph of every article for me is now obscured by an advertisement, and the rest pop up all over the place making it a pain in the butt. I get you need revenue but I miss the first paragraph and I constantly get a video running in the bottom corner.

Why South Africa's ‘scrum dominance’ gospel is spreading around the world

We could have a massive say on the French prospects

If we keep the run going against Scotland, France would likely have them in the round of 16 and rebounding from a loss. France will not have broken a sweat by then. An almighty banana skin considering the Scots kicked them up and down Murrayfield last time out
