The Rock to produce documentary on Black Ferns great Portia Woodman-Wickliffe

Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson is backing a documentary about legendary New Zealand and Black Ferns wing Portia Woodman-Wickliffe.
Seven Bucks Productions, which Johnson founded with Dany Garcia, will work with New Zealand production company Pango Productions to create Undeniable: Portia Woodman.
The documentary will be directed by Zoë McIntoch and will follow Woodman-Wickliffe as “she balances fame and injuries carrying the weight of her culture on her back and rising to the occasion in a way only a true warrior could.”

“Portia Woodman-Wickliffe is the perfect trifecta of accomplishment,” Dwayne Johnson said.
“A true pioneering female athlete, one of the greatest rugby players of all time and a straight up, nonnegotiable GOAT bad ass who leads with grit, heart and pride, for not only women’s sports, but for our Polynesian culture as well.
“Having lived in New Zealand as a kid and playing the game of rugby, I’ve admired Portia for years – I’m proud and pumped to help share her story with the world.”
During her playing career, Woodman-Wickliffe won two Olympic gold medals, two Women’s Rugby World Cups, two Rugby World Cup Sevens titles and a Commonwealth Games gold medal.
Of course, her list of achievements does not end there. She was also named World Rugby Women’s Player of the Year in both the 15-a-side and sevens games. She was also named in the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Player of the Decade.
Woodman-Wickliffe is also the leading try-scorer for the Black Ferns and, at Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, became the leading try-scorer at Rugby World Cups for both men and women.
