Not really. They set up a separate commercial arm just for the deal.

This is exactly what NZR has forgotten in recent years. They were so focused on a huge top-up to their bank account from the Silverlake deal and the delusion that they could conquer America, that they were blind to what really matters - the real fans.

Ah right, sounds like your now choosing 12, as your assumption has always been that he would be first choice 12 and 15 in the big games, and previously you had thought 15 was the position that need that specialist most.

I think you’re right and that he likely only play 15 if there is a better or like 12 option. He seems reluctant to play 15.

Certainly from my perspective the black ferns defense stood up this weekend, everyone knows they have the ability to score points but defense sometimes is the difference at the pointy end of the competition.

Whatever mate I bet you think the All Blacks are still the best team in the world last year. The All Blacks lost in Wellington because they were totally out played by the Springboks that is all that there is to it. Rassie named the team on the Monday he was not forced which was a bit of games-men ship. Sure doing whole sale changes is always a gamble but that is just the way Rassie roles. The All Blacks and the NZRU as stuck in the past and that is where they will stay unless different thinking from the top is applied.

When you are projecting your thoughts as the reason why something happened, when everything else points otherwise, Yes, it is about you.

Razor could still get jobs at three of those teams. I don’t know why you’d think he’d have fallen so far with his record. You have to understand the All Blacks are a very unique environment (again you have to put aside your own opinion here and respond to whats coming out in the media) that are steeped in tradition and protocol. You don’t get to such winning records without it. Really no other team has such a thing and most would be much more easily molded to what Razor wants.
