RugbyPass statement: South Africa v USA Second Test

We would like to apologise to fans in the USA who were unable to watch today’s South Africa v USA Women’s international match live on RugbyPass TV (RPTV).
Following a successful technical test ahead of the match, the necessary broadcast information was shared with the external production team responsible for delivering the live stream. However, during the build-up to the match, the live feed was sent to an incorrect destination by the external supplier. Despite the RPTV team’s best efforts, this issue was not rectified in a timely manner by the supplier which frustrated RugbyPass’ ability to restore the service.
As a result, the live match stream was not available on RPTV in the USA.
We recognise how disappointing this is for supporters who were looking forward to watching the match live and sincerely apologise for the disruption. We are reviewing any future use of the supplier involved to help ensure issues like this do not happen again.
