PWR Cup: Groups and fixtures for 2026/27 confirmed

Fixtures for the 2026/27 edition of the PWR Cup have been confirmed by Premiership Women’s Rugby.
The competition will start in mid-September and the final will take place at the start of November.
Saracens are the tournament’s current champions, having claimed silverware with a 43-33 win over Harlequins at StoneX Stadium last October.

Nine PWR teams are split into two groups:
Pool A: Saracens, Exeter Chiefs, Sale Sharks, Loughborough Lightning and Leicester Tigers
Pool B: Harlequins, Bristol Bears, Trailfinders and Gloucester Hartpury
Group stage fixtures will take place across five weekends. Teams in Pool B will have bye weekends in Round 2 and Round 4. There is a reserve weekend in place for the weekend of 24-25 October.
The league will confirm kick-off details – date, time, venue – will be confirmed at a later date.
In March, PWR confirmed the season structure for the 2026/27 league season.
The competition will begin on the weekend of 21-22 November almost a month after the WXV Global Series has concluded.
League action will run for 16 rounds before a break for the Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
Action will resume for Round 17 on the weekend of 29-30 May and the final will take place on the weekend of 26-27 at a venue that is yet to be confirmed.
