Katie Buchanan will get her first Scotland start this Saturday as Dave Butcher’s side resume their WXV Global Series campaign against the Wallaroos in Sydney.

The two teams will meet at Accor Stadium this weekend just three weeks after Australia beat Scotland 30-10 in Edinburgh. After this weekend’s clash in Sydney, the teams will conclude their autumn campaigns against one another in Canberra.

Buchanan’s inclusion in the starting XV – which sees Shona Campbell move to the bench – is one of two changes that Butcher has made to his starting team. The other seed Leia Brebner-Holden gets the nod at scrum-half for her first start of the autumn.
