How to watch rugby’s Bledisloe Cup series in the USA
The annual Bledisloe Cup series between New Zealand and Australia is one of the great historic match-ups in world rugby. And rugby fans in the USA will be able to watch both matches live, for free, on RugbyPass TV.
The first game of this year’s two-match series kicks off this weekend at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand. The deciding leg is a week later, at the Accor Stadium in Sydney, Australia.
Recent history favours the All Blacks – they have kept hold of the Cup for the past 23 years, while Australia last won a match in the series back in November 2020, some 12 matches ago.
The All Blacks are undefeated in 53 Tests at fortress Eden Park since 1994. Australia’s last win there was in 1986.
But the Wallabies have yet to lose a match under Les Kiss, winning four and drawing one of his five matches in charge since he took over from Joe Schmidt after the southern hemisphere leg of July’s Nations Championship.
Kiss has made only one change to his starting XV that beat South Africa in Perth, bringing in the hard-running Isaac Henry to start his third test at outside centre following Hunter Paisami’s suspension, allowing Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii to stay out on the wing, opposite Max Jorgensen.
Captain Harry Wilson, meanwhile, partners Rob Valetini and Fraser McReight in a thoroughly recognisable Wallabies’ backrow.
Despite a number of absences – Ardie Savea, Luke Jacobson, Caleb Clarke, Billy Proctor, Ruben Love, Richie Mo’unga and Fehi Fineanganofo are ruled out – New Zealand head coach Dave Rennie has named a strong side for his first match against the side he used to coach on their return to home soil following eight matches on the road.
Second row Scott Barrett starts for the first time since November 2025, with brothers Beauden at full-back and Jordie at inside centre. Cam Roigard and Damien McKenzie run the show from the halfbacks.
The first test, at Auckland’s Eden Park, will be available to stream on RugbyPass TV, and on World Rugby’s Youtube channel at 02:00 ET on 10 October / 23:00 PT on 9 October.
The return fixture, a week later at the Accor Stadium in Sydney, will be shown on the same channels at 01:00 ET on 17 October / 22:00 PT on 16 October.
