France name an unchanged line-up to take on England in Lyon

Fabien Galthie has named his France Guinness Six Nations team to host England this Saturday, making no changes following last Sunday’s win away to Wales.

The French gave their disappointing campaign a boost with their 45-24 success in Cardiff and the reaction ahead of welcoming the English to Lyon has been to keep faith with last weekend’s entire match day 23.

England, meanwhile, have made one change to their starting XV, Elliot Daly coming onto the wing in place of the unavailable Immanuel Feyi-Waboso. Ethan Roots and Manu Tuilagi are named on the bench for the injured Chandler Cunningham-South and the promoted Daly.

For me it’s about momentum and fitness. The Saders being slow starters then finishing strong. Something the Chiefs don’t do Even in a relatively short season, it’s a big ask to maintain that intensity. Which is where fitness comes in, there’s no doubt the Chiefs are there physically, it’s the top three inches where they will be tested. Until they lose Choker the Elephant??

Again the Crusaders are fit physically and have the top 3 inches, they have been there done that but!! Their timing?

If they take another step up from last week I believe they will be hard to beat.

If both teams bring their A Game, 🙏🤞🏼, we’re in for a monster.

As in all close games this year, discipline/penalties, will decide.

If the Chiefs “ shut down the whole Brumbies team” how were the Brumbies able to register 3 tries against them ?? As many as the Chiefs themselves managed !! The Crusaders are capable of more than the Brumbies so I fail to see that you have made a point.

It annoys when sport “Professionals “ make statements like that . The Best Team, plays their Best game in the final. The start of the Season is pure entertainment for the Fans and training for the Teams. The last 2 years in a row the Chiefs timed their run wrong and “Choked “. Not a word used when speaking about the Crusaders, EVER!!

Hamish Bidwell should put something behind his arrogant statement. He’s playing the weatherman game, he knows, if he gets it wrong, meh!

But he takes kudos for getting a 50/50 right.

Remember game #1.

Rob Penny took his front row off including Tamaiti Williams who was demolishing the Chiefs scrum and causing havoc all over the field. The Saders lost the second half and the game, meh? Yes meh! We lost Tamaiti first game last season a loss we didn’t recover from when added to Jordan, Scooter, Backadder , etc. Yet they beat The Blues in the last Round game. Oh that’s right the Chiefs ( qualified first ) then lost to the Blues, at home! With 🐄🔔S.

The Crusaders as a whole, from top down, know the season is decided at the end.

Not a team I would write off so easily.

As for the Cow Bells. If I had Chiefs supporters coming over to watch the game at mine. I would ask them to leave the bells at home, purely because they are so bloody annoying. My house my rules. Next year don’t lose in the “Finals” (joke), get the home final and tell the Crusaders to leave the horses at home (🤣🤣🤣).

I can’t wait the game will be awesome for so many reasons.

Lolesuo is never going to be a polished diamond. Just not good enough. Cooper himself was a rocks and diamonds player. Never became a consistently great performer even tho he probably had it in him. I dont agree that he had a good rugby IQ but he certainly lacked IQ in most other areas of his life. He did grow into a more solid, reliable player as he aged but by then he was playing in Japan.
