Emmanuel Iyogun forced to withdraw from England camp
Gloucester prop Afolabi Fasogbon has been called into the England squad following an injury to Emmanuel Iyogun.
Fasogbon, 20, is coming off an impressive first Premiership season in which he made 12 starts for Gloucester as they finished fifth, earning himself a new contract which he signed earlier this month.
Iyogun had been among 10 uncapped players called into Steve Borthwick’s squad after a campaign in which he helped Northampton reach the Champions Cup final, but the 24-year-old has been forced to withdraw.
England are heading to Argentina for a two-Test series, with the opening match in Buenos Aires on July 5 and the second in San Juan on July 12. They will then play a one-off Test against the United States in Washington DC on July 19.

I think that’s the decision Steve Borthwick should have made in the first place and Fasagbon would be the perfect bench tighthead to go against the ARG scrum. It does make you wonder how Borthwick arrives at his decisions, they are never straight forward but thankfully we have a coach called INJURY that appears to correct many of Borthwick’s mistakes.
Isnt that a tighty in for a loosey
Guess Asher can play both sides
Congrats to Afo Fasogbon. Plenty of folk besides those from Kingsholm wanted you to be a part of the tour. Enjoy!!
