Despite the negative comments below, it was still good to watch the home sides playing good rugby, second-rate opponents or not, especially the Lions who created some excellent moves that - as long as the weather isn't too kak - will hopefully stand them in good stead for future overseas games.

The biggest disappointment? The measly crowds. I reckon the sum total from all three games at Loftus, Ellis Park and King's Park will be less than the 20 000+ due at The Cape Town stadium (I refuse to call it by it's useless sponsor's name having had kak from their UK colleagues last week!) today? It’s awful watching the games on TV - in fact it's totally embarrassing. Can't their unions find a way to at least fill the stadiums half full like the Stormers, or maybe play at smaller ones (if that's possible)? Ellis Park is always the worst, thanks to that idiot Jannie le Roux (assisted by the tosser Luyt), place to go so maybe there's no chance for that badly located sh*t hole but the other two could at least try a bit harder.

This part of the URC is always such a farce. The Super teams would always send their best to face the SA sides despite the travel. What’s Europe’s excuse?

Was a great round for us in SA

However, my concern if it will carry on that way the European teams might forfeit their visits to the Republic since playing here has no competiting value for them?
