Union Sportive Dax Rugby Landes
Union Sportive Dax Rugby Landes, more commonly referred to as US Dax, is a French rugby union club that competes in the Pro D2, France’s second division.
The club was formed in 1904 and is based in Dax in the Landes département of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The team’s home stadium, Stade Maurice Boyau, has a capacity of 7,262.
The US Dax rugby team first became successful in the 1950s. Between then and the 1970s, they made it to the final of the French Championship on five occasions. They finished runners-up in 1956, 1961, 1963, 1966, and 1973. Alongside this, the team has also won the Challenge Yves du Manoir five times.
The US Dax rugby team has a strong pedigree and a bright future. We can’t wait to see what else the team can achieve in the coming seasons.
