Sian Jones Bio

Now a dynamic and talented scrum-half, Sian Jones took to rugby at a young age. She joined Denbigh Rugby Club in North Wales at the age of five and immediately fell in love with the game. During her youth career, she also represented Cheshire when she was 15. 

From here, her career began to take off. She joined Sale Sharks Women and got her first taste of Premiership Women’s Rugby in December 2023. The following year, she moved to Gloucester-Hartpury, where she has played ever since. 

While at Sale Sharks, Sian Jones also made her debut for Wales. She was called up to the Wales squad for the 2024 Six Nations, where she featured in every match of the tournament. Sadly, she was not considered for selection for the 2025 Rugby World Cup due to a wrist injury. 

Still young and with the world at her feet, we can’t wait to see what Sian Jones can achieve during her career.
