Bio

Romane Ménager currently plays as a number eight for the French national team and Montpellier Hérault Sport Club Féminines. She made her international debut in 2015 and officially joined the national team in 2016.

Born on 26 July 1996, Romane Ménager started playing rugby for LMRC Villeneuve d'Ascq when she was just seven years old. But, Romane is not the only one in her family who plays rugby. In fact, she has a twin sister, Marine Ménager, who also plays the game. Along with Marine, Romane was signed to Lille MRCV and made her debut when she was just 18 years old.

After making her first international appearance in 2015, Romane Ménager and her sister joined the national team in 2016. She reached new heights during the following year, when she was included in the squad that contested the 2017 Rugby World Cup.

Romane Ménager has played for two clubs during her career. Along with her sister, she spent 14 years at Lille MRCV. However, the pair decided to leave the club in 2018. Taking the next step in their careers, the Ménager sisters moved to Montpellier.

A few years later, both Romane and her sister were included in the French team for the 2021 Rugby World Cup. In the competition, Romane scored two tries against New Zealand and also started in the third-place play-off match against Canada.

As a talented and skillful number eight, we're sure we haven't seen the best of Romane Ménager just yet.
