Carla Neisen Bio

Carla Neisen is French rugby union player who represents Blagnac women’s rugby club and the France women’s national rugby union team as a centre.

Neisen was born on 8 March 1996 in Bugue, France. At 163 cm (5“4) and 63 kg (9 st 13 lb) she offers outstanding strength in her position as a centre. She currently trains with her club, Blagnac women’s rugby club, where she has played her entire career.

In 2020, she made her Olympic debut with the France women’s national rugby sevens team at the Tokyo Summer Olympics. She then returned to represent France in the 2024 Summer Olympics. Playing as a No.9, Neisen won a bronze medal with the French team at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens.

Added to this, Carla Neisen has also made several appearances for the France women’s XV-a-side team. She was named in her country’s Rugby World Cup squad in 2017.

Neisen has offered some impressive performances for her club and the national team, and we look forward to seeing more from the French centre in the future.
