Watch: Fekitoa tears through Rokococo, tweaks hamstring

Malakai Fekitoa ripped through Racing 92 on the weekend but appeared to strain a hamstring in the process of scoring. He was immediately replaced by Ma’a Nonu and all was in vain as Toulon eventually came up short. The extent of the injury is still unknown.

'I just don’t get it': The Irish pundits' reaction to latest Scotland flop

All valid points the pundits made. Ireland had a big advantage over Scotland in that a massive core of their side have big pressure match experience from their time with Leinster and Ireland. Scotland, not so much. Scotland still lacking one or two class players who can cause problems at the ruck as well.

The Blues look a bit like George Foreman - could knock anyone right out, but then get undone by the quicker more skilled boxer like Ali. And for me that’s the Chiefs at the moment while the Crusaders are doing a Joe Frazier impersonation. The Highlanders are Chisora - eveyone’s favourite but never going to reign. The Canes, well, could say Tyson after they obliterated the Warratahs - but maybe closer to Joseph Parker…

Super Rugby Pacific performers of the week for round 5

Johnny Lee as said above had an outstanding debut for the Crusaders. 2 fantastic tries and a work rate that is typical of players wearing a red and black jersey. His mentor Ethan Blackadder also had a fine game. Will Jordan’s opening try and everything he did of the scale. Great to be there.
