Big problem for AB’s is both foster and robertson have completely failed to build talent over time, both preferring to keep betting all their money on the older players which are now falling off with nobody to replace them, especially at 9 and 10. 2011-2015 AB’s were good because they were the payoff from building over time in the 2000’s, and the springboks are so good for the same reason now that they made the investment earlier. AB’s are performing like they are in an investment period with no long term player investments actually happening.

statistics paint a picture but it doesn’t paint a complete picture . That’s why you don’t understand momentum and That’s why you can’t see when the All Blacks lost the game . A game is 80 minutes and in those minutes are moments and each of those moments are opportunities to score points . But every minute isn’t a moment but rather a build up to those moments . for 20 minutes the All Blacks did everything right in the build up and the score was 12-0 , then BB missed 2 opportunities and gave possession away . when he gave possession away . The english took the opportunity and when they scored they had momentum . 2 drop goals later and they solidified momentum going into half time .

the score was 11-12 … now everything in the first 20m the All Blacks did right means nothing.

Second-half England flex blows All Blacks away in Twickenham

Yes I think we have seen enough. That backline is full of quality players. They just look lost and most success comes down to individual moments rather than team moments. Maybe I’ll think different after the disappointment wears off, but reality is, the backs arnt playing as a team. They look confused. The forwards are doing better but they arnt gelling from an offload in attack perspective.

Youngsters in the forwards definately isn’t the problem, and as for the backs we’ll the game plan is unknown. Not even the coach knows it.

QT was sensational in SR and just looks confused in tests. Same with Proctor, Jordan….. they look like they don’t get the plan. If you analyse the wins, lots have come down to individuals.

Too conservative and seemingly no game plan re AB’s. Canterbury lock Sam Darry should have been brought on earlier. He makes things happen. Beauden Barrett is finished. Cam Roigard was hugely missed. But selections are terrible. Beauden should have been dropped a long time ago. Hope he never passes Crusaders and AB great Andrew Mehrtens in second place of AB scorers behind Carter. He is nowhere near as good as Mehrts and will have done it in far more tests.

Definitely. Maybe after everyone has offloaded the anger. let's look at way forward. Several youngsters under 25 who have stood up this season ..Wallace, Lakai, Holland, Vaii. Hoatham when he gets fit. Some young front rowers, who will start to peak in 2 years. Main issue is our captain and who runs the cutter

I hate to say this but the stats say we were outstanding in defence and 2nd best in attack BT, so maybe your comments aren’t wrong.

If we maintain that level of defence (which is fairly consistent vs AUS stats), whilst adding a more fluid attack, EMG are going to build in a very good team over the next 2 years.

Really pleased with today’s win, I thought it would be a close game, where ENG’s defence would cause issues but had some doubts if our attack would score enough points but the drop goals really helped and kept the scoreboard ticking over.

This was really a victory for the defence, which looked very strong and whilst a few are going overboard, we were very much 2nd place in the attack stats, so room for improvement as we continue to evolve.

NZ nutmegged ENG 3-0 last year, so AB’s were clearly the better team.

Those losses forced SB to do something different, so he doubled down on the 5x7’s and the outcome of today confirms they have made more improvement over the last 12 months.
