Having lost 31-14 at home earlier this season, Leinster would have taken any win over their bitter rivals, and, as it turned out, this wasn’t an affair that will live long in the memory.

Here’s how the Leinster players rated:

15. Ciarán Frawley – 7
Calm and secure under pressure, with good contact work in a low-margin contest.

14. Tommy O’Brien – 6.5
Busy defensively and diligent in the chase, though chances with ball in hand were scarce.

13. Rieko Ioane – 7
Powerful carrier who bent the line, but conceded a couple of penalties that stalled momentum.

Solid win by Leinster. Tadhg Byrne said that this was one that got away from Munster but that is a very optimistic take. Leinster dominated for long sections and pinned Munster without landing the killer blow that the second try would have been. Munster defended and spoiled bravely but if Leinster go 14-0 the match was heading to a bonus point win.

The Premier Sports anchor was questioning Cullen the fact that Leinster were hammering teams at this time last year. But Cullen correctly pointed out that they were not. The equivalent match might have been Leinster’s squeeky win away to LaRochelle.

Defence now is looking good, the match with LaRochelle in the Aviva will show if and what Leinster have up their sleaves. They must win their CC group and will need a decisive win then to be in with a chance of finishing ahead of Stormers.

You’re lying. Again.

Mangan was an unused sub and scores higher than kelleher who despite the lineout issues contributed to the early scrum dominants and was making plenty of dominant tackles?

If this was posted right after the game I would understand but it was posted an hour ago?
