Bristol Bears have recruited two scrum-halves after being hit by injury and unavailability in that position.
Harry Randall is currently on Guinness Six Nations duty with England, impressing during the 33-0 victory over Italy on Sunday.
And Randall’s fellow nines at Bristol are injured, with Andy Uren sidelined due to a hamstring problem and Tom Whiteley limping off during last week’s Gallagher Premiership home defeat against London Irish.
Bristol have signed Toby Venner on loan from Gloucester until the end of this season, while Bath’s Max Green has arrived on a short-term agreement.
Both players are available for selection when Bristol face Premiership opponents Worcester on Friday.
Bristol rugby director Pat Lam said: “I would would like to extend my thanks to George Skivington at Gloucester Rugby and Ed Griffiths at Bath Rugby for allowing the players to join us.”
