Deadly England winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso has been declared fit and returns to the Exeter matchday 23 for the Big Summer clash against Harlequins at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.

Feyi-Waboso suffered a head injury in the Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Ulster a fortnight ago and sat out last weekend’s 35-12 win at home to Bath.

The 23-year-old, who’d scored four tries in four games since returning from a hamstring injury before Ulster, has to settle for a place on the bench against Quins, with Rob Baxter opting to field an unchanged XV.

His inclusion on a 5-3 bench is the only change to the matchday 23, as the Chiefs look to take another step towards securing a play-off place. The cream of Devon are currently in the fourth play-off spot, with a five-point buffer between themselves and Bristol Bears.

“Last weekend’s result keeps everything exciting for us, which is important at this stage in the season. I think the game showed how key the small margins are and the importance of showing up mentally, emotionally and physically,” said Baxter.

“We’ve shown we’re still fighting, that we still want something out of this season. Three games and we’re still right in the mix, so we couldn’t really ask for a bigger challenge than Harlequins in their big game this weekend.”

Harvey Skinner runs out for his 100th Prem Rugby appearance at fly-half, in a direct duel with Marcus Smith, who Baxter said had been outplayed by his man earlier in the season.
