The 29-year-old missed fixtures against Scotland, England and France, and will provide the squad with a boost ahead of back-to-back fixtures with England in Toronto and Ottawa.

There is also a return for Rori Wood, who sustained a serious knee injury ahead of Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 and has not played a game since July 2025.

Olympic silver medallists Piper Logan and Caroline Crossley are also named in Kévin Rouet’s squad for this October. Crossley was ever-present in Canada’s runners-up finish at Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, while Logan is in line to earn her first Test cap.

Reigning World Rugby Women’s 15s Player of the Year, Sophie de Goede, continues to captain the team, while Olivia Apps, Justine Pelletier and Alex Tessier are named vice-captains.

Kévin Rouet, Canada head coach, said: “We are very excited to be back in Canada with the chance to play in front of our fans. Games on home soil are extra special for the players and staff.

“Everyone is grinding and working hard to make sure we are at our best when we face England in these next two games. The players were not satisfied with the tie against England last month. We want to prove to everyone that this team is moving in the right direction as we build towards the next world cup in 2029.”
