All Black George Bridge's future lies overseas after Force name latest leavers

Western Force have released the names of six players who are leaving the Perth-based team now that their season is over.

Former All Blacks winger George Bridge is one of the sextet, with the 31-year-old heading overseas for the second time in his career after just one season.

Bridge, who won 19 caps for the All Blacks, spent three seasons at Montpellier between 2022 and 2025 before returning to Super Rugby with the Force ahead of the 2026 campaign. He played in all but one game, predominantly at outside centre. His destination club has yet to be confirmed.

Two one-cap Wallabies, Darcy Lancaster and Harry Johnson-Holmes, are also moving on.

One-time Leicester target Lancaster has accepted a deal elsewhere, according to the Force. The speedster, who won his only cap to date against Georgia in 2024, scored four tries in five games before sustaining a season-ending ankle injury against the Reds in Round 8.

Prop Johnson-Holmes overcame long-term Achilles and ACL injuries to play every game in the 2026 season, reaching 100 Super Rugby caps in the Round 10 win over the Crusaders.

Utility back Max Burey has signed elsewhere, while Tongan tight-head Feao Fotuaika and back-rower Titi Nofoagatotoa are the other players heading out of the exit door.
