Wales fly-half Sam Costelow has been ruled out of Friday’s Six Nations match against Ireland in Dublin.
There have been no penalties awarded.
Wales face off against Tonga in Rugby World Cup Round 2 on Fri 8th October 2027 at Marvel Stadium. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 08:15. In South Africa it’s at 09:15 SAST, 20:15 NZST in New Zealand, 18:15 AEST in Australia and 00:15 EST in the US.
Wales won the last encounter but Tonga are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture, Wales sits at 12 in the World Rugby Rankings, while Tonga holds 19.
The two sides are separated by 7 places in the rankings with Wales in position 12 and Tonga in position 19 as such Wales are favourites on paper.
The official squads for Wales vs Tonga will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
