Springboks U20 face off against Uruguay U20 in World Rugby U20 Championship Round 1 on Sat 27th June 2026 at Avchala Stadium. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 17:30. In South Africa it’s at 18:30 SAST, 04:30 NZST in New Zealand, 02:30 AEST in Australia and 09:30 EST in the US.
This is the first time Springboks U20 and Uruguay U20 play each other and Springboks U20 are also in the best form of their last 5 games.
The official squads for Springboks U20 vs Uruguay U20 will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
