Lions face off against Kavaliers in Currie Cup Round 8 on Sat 13th September 2025 at 10bet Ellis Park. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 16:00. In South Africa it’s at 17:00 SAST, 03:00 NZST in New Zealand, 01:00 AEST in Australia and 08:00 EST in the US.
Kavaliers won the last encounter but both teams are in the same form for their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 3 places in the league table with Kavaliers in 1st and Lions in 4th underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Lions vs Kavaliers will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
