Lions face off against Kavaliers in Currie Cup Round 5 on Fri 14th August 2026 at Wits University. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 14:00. In South Africa it’s at 15:00 SAST, 01:00 NZST in New Zealand, 23:00 AEST in Australia and 06:00 EST in the US.
Kavaliers won the last encounter but both teams are in the same form for their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 2 places in the league table with Kavaliers in 4th and Lions in 6th underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Lions vs Kavaliers will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
