Griquas face off against Lions in Currie Cup Round 8 on Sun 6th September 2026 at Suzuki Stadium. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 12:00. In South Africa it’s at 13:00 SAST, 23:00 NZST in New Zealand, 21:00 AEST in Australia and 04:00 EST in the US.
Griquas won the last encounter but Griquas are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 3 places in the league table with Lions in 1st and Griquas in 4th underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Griquas vs Lions will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
