Lions face off against Griquas in Currie Cup Round 9 on Sat 20th September 2025 at 10bet Ellis Park. Kick-off in the UK is scheduled for 14:00. In South Africa it’s at 15:00 SAST, 01:00 NZST in New Zealand, 23:00 AEST in Australia and 06:00 EST in the US.
Griquas won the last encounter but Griquas are in the best form of their last 5 games.
Heading into the fixture the two sides are separated by just 1 place in the league table with Griquas in 1st and Lions in 2nd underlining just how tight this match could be.
The official squads for Lions vs Griquas will become available around 24- 48 hours before kick-off. Teams can still make changes up to an hour before the match however.
