I tried to find ANYTHING about scrums on this page - but alas… Perhaps some metrics on scrumming, an essential part of union, will help add more context to the overall picture.

No team would have won in Paris against France with all that was against the Springboks. They are truly a magnificent side, and it might be time to start to have conversations about this Springbok team being the best team ever to play the game.

I didn’t know you could be exhausted from watching a game. Now I know.

Wow. I thought the boks were buried there. A very tough game to watch. Hope the neutrals enjoyed it. My nerves are shot.

The French went away at the end. Fitness? Some battered bodies.

BiltongKingSA 26 days ago

One just had to smile. What a finish by the bokke.

B
BiltongKingSA 26 days ago

Brilliant play. Never write the boks off.

There we go. Turning into an interesting game.

BiltongKingSA 26 days ago

French look good. Unfortunately our guys don't seem to be making much headway. Not sure about the selection to be honest but I am sure rassie knows what he is doing by giving some guys game time. Can only be good for us long term.

H
Hammer Head 26 days ago

The French defence is much better than SAs. Very hard to make ground. And they’re rolling through phases very well. A very good performance from them. Fair play.

B
BiltongKingSA 26 days ago

Yes, I agree. The game is not lost yet. Guys will have to dig deep to win this but not impossible.

H
Hammer Head 26 days ago

Not sure why the decision couldn’t go to the bunker at the very least. That’s what it’s there for.

Having the AR chirping in in the the referees ears with the stadium baying for blood seems daft.

No mitigation applied whatsoever for Ramos dropping to his knees?

Bizarre. But not unexpected that cards will determine the outcome of this game.

B
BiltongKingSA 26 days ago

Halo julle. Ja nee ek sal maar liewer stilbly oor die rooi card.

Not in any way possible to grow this sport with refs and laws like this!

It's a closed shop now.

We need more than 2 colours of cards.

If that red decides this game I'm going back to soccer.

H
Hammer Head 26 days ago

I thought we did. 20 Min red. 🤷🏼‍♂️

H
Hammer Head 26 days ago

The French will get their revenge after all.

Congrats.

Anyone else think these concessions for color blindness are a crock of sh1t?

Because of World Rugby - SA and France (ABs, Wales) should never wear their traditional kit against each other.

I love brain dead, nanny-state rules.
